Browser Not Supported

Your browser doesn't support the Web Serial API. You can still select and download firmware here, but direct flashing requires Chrome, Edge, or Opera on desktop.

Before flashing, make sure to backup your device configuration. Flashing new firmware may reset your settings, and erasing the device will delete all stored data including your Device identity.

First-time installation:

  • Use the merged firmware file.
  • For firmware updates on previously flashed devices, merged firmware is not required.

After flashing:

  • Press the RST (reset) button on your device to boot into the new firmware.
  1. Select a firmware version from the dropdown.
  2. Choose your device type (ESP32).
  3. Choose your language.
  4. Or upload your own firmware file (.bin).
  5. For first-time installation, use the merged firmware file.
  6. Check "Erase device" if this is a first-time flash.
  7. Click "Flash Device" and grant serial port access.
  8. Wait for flashing to complete. Do not disconnect.
  9. Press the RST (reset) button on your device.

For nRF52 first-time installation, erase the device once before flashing normal firmware. Select FLASH ERASE in Firmware Version, then choose the correct erase target:

  • Most nRF52 devices: FLASH ERASE nRF52 SoftDevice v6
  • Wio Seeed L1 & Quill nRF52840 Mesh: FLASH ERASE nRF52 SoftDevice v7
  • UF2: If you use drag-and-drop flashing, download v6 UF2 or v7 UF2, then double-tap reset and copy it into the USB folder.
  1. First-time only: select FLASH ERASE as the firmware version.
  2. Choose the correct SoftDevice v6 or v7 erase target.
  3. Click "Enter DFU Mode" and select your device.
  4. Click "Flash Device" and wait for erase to complete.
  5. Select your normal firmware version.
  6. Choose your nRF52 device type and language.
  7. Click "Enter DFU Mode" again if needed.
  8. Click "Flash Device" to install firmware.
  9. Wait for flashing to complete. Do not disconnect.
